What customers say?

“ Always a difficult time to write reviews for banquets or panto, but somehow I managed to sneak this one in. This restaurant is probably the best among this block, with us having tried most of the dampa paluto restaurants here. This place also used to be pricey and crowded but has since then mellowed down with the exodus of POGO mainlanders, but we are going to be talking about the food and not that. Was not able to get the photos of all the food served, so I’ll just list what we got one by one, even those with no photos taken. Steamed suahe 5/5 nothing to say, fresh, and crisp. Salmon sashimi 4/5 good value but some slices are still frozen solid. Salted egg crab 5/5. Again, good value, make sure to pick female for that aligue. Used to be expensive but these types of restaurants do not track restaurant food price inflation like other establishments. Fried garoupa in sweet and sour sauce 4/5 right crisp, right flavor of the sauce, I suppose the host made it this way because they could not order live garoupa for steamed instead. Tempura 5/5 right crisp, bursting with juice on every bite. Very much improved over their last servings of this dish to us. Not our first rodeo in this restaurant. Tahong soup. 5/5. Better than halaan soup, which for some reason was bad the last times we went here. This one just hits the spot. Baked scallops 2/5 was taken out of the oven too quickly, as the cheese was still soft. Lacked the burnt cheese flavor and texture due to this. You can also only barely taste the scallops. Not recommended. Bill came to only about 14k or so for 12 or so people which is a bargain considering it was an all seafood affair. Add this place to your rotation. ”

“ They have the best salted egg sauce we ever had. We get it every time we come here, from crabs to shrimp. Quick and fast service. They charge 350 pesos fixed price per “paluto” so best to get 1kg or more of each seafood to get the most bang for your buck. Place is cash only and may get a bit rowdy especially on peak times even if they have private spaces. Definitely not for intimate experiences. These places serve some of the best grilled pork belly and is a must have on uour dampa trip!! ”

“ Yum. This place made really delicious dishes and I enjoyed every single one of them. My personal favourite being the cheese scallops because they are SO addictive. The only problem I have doesn’t even involve the restaurant itself. Be wary of beggars and people trying to rope you into their restaurants even though they just say you exit this one! ”
